Table 2. Summary Fluted Point Data by State (from Anderson and Faught 1998)

This table displays summaries of fluted point data by state. The table is comprised of 12 columns. From left to right the column headers are: State, State Area in Square Miles, Total Fluted Location (where E = east of the Mississippi and W = west of the Mississippi), County Points, Folsom Level Data, Cumberland Points, Suwannee Points, Simpson Points, Clovis-like Points, Fluted Points Points, per 1000 square miles, and Primary References. The table contains 53 rows listed alphabetically by state. Over a total of 3,022,261 square miles, there were 12,913 county points (12,301, according the Folsom level data), 2,015 Cumberland points, 348 Suwannee points, 490 Simpson points, 51 Clovis-like points, and 10,479 Fluted Points points, for an average of 4.27 points per square mile.
