FIELD TRIP IN A BOX

 

Bringing Your Class to Arches National Park? Check out a Field Trip in a Box:

  • Each Field Trip in a Box provides the lesson plans, materials and background for you to teach your students about either: Geology, Desert Adaptations or Microorganisms.
  • Each box includes suggestions of locations you may want to conduct your field trip lessons.
  • Each box includes introductory activities and assessment activities.
  • Each topic is tied to the core curriculum for the State of Utah.

To reserve a box, complete and submit a reservation form at least two weeks in advance of your visit. Boxes are limited; reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once at the park, check out your box from the Arches National Park Visitor Center anytime during regular business hours, and simply return the box before you leave the park.

Individuals checking out field trip boxes are responsible for any damage to the contents of that box. A credit card deposit is required.

Classes coming from accredited education institutions may qualify for a fee wavier.
