Collection SummaryThe Fort Caroline National Memorial collection contains Native American pottery sherds, lithics, shell tools, dugout canoe and owl totem; European armor, weaponry and cannon tubes; books pertaining to early Florida and U.S. history, and navigation; Theodore DeBry engravings based on Jacques LeMoyne’s images of Fort de la Caroline and the Timucua Indians; tools; coins; archeological objects systematically recovered from park.
