Park Museum Collection Profiles (NPS)

Collection of Mesozoic fossil specimens (vertebrate fossils, invertebrate fossils, plant fossils, microfossils, trace fossils) and associated field records; geological specimens and associated field records; herbarium housing vascular and non-vascular plant specimens (including lichens) found in the park; zoological specimens and associated field records; archeological objects systematically recovered from within the park's boundaries and associated field records; historic objects (picks, drills, hammers, chisels) associated with the Carnegie Quarry (c. 1909-1924); historic objects and archival materials related to pre-1875 exploration within the park, to 19th and 20th century settlement, and to the park's history.
