Summary | The museum collection consists of objects and archival materials relating to two Civil War battles: the Battle of Chickamauga (September 18-20, 1863) and the Battles for Chattanooga (November 23-25, 1863). The museum collection includes the Longstreet Thomas manuscripts that focus on the two battles and the Civil War in the Western Theater; Civil War artifacts; the Fuller Collection of American Military Longarms; furnishings for the historic Cravens House (c. 1866); and archival material relating to the administration of the park (c. 1890-1920). |
