About Aviation

Aviation Management is one of the many programs in the National Park Service that supports multiple areas. Some of the programs supported by Aviation Management include Fire, Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, Resource Management, Backcountry Patrol, and Administration (transport of personnel and cargo). In providing this support, the National Park Service utilizes aviation resources composed of contract and rental services, as well as government-owned fleet aircraft.
