Christine Murdock Has Retired
Chris Murdock, human resources specialist for Pacific West Region, retired on January 3rd after 35 years of service with the federal government.
Chris began her federal career with the Central Intelligence Agency in 1977, working in various HR positions for 15 years. In 1992, she joined the National Park Service in the Human Resources Division of today’s Pacific West Regional Office in Seattle.
For the next 20 years, Chris served the division in a variety of assignments. In each of them, she earned a reputation for her commitment to her work, and her devotion to the region’s employees and their human resources needs. Known for her love of music, animals, and sense of humor, Chris was a valued colleague within the regional office and throughout the region’s parks. Always ready with a kind word and a quick wit, Chris will be missed and we wish her all the best in her retirement.
