PECOS NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK
Passing Of Edwin Lovato

Edwin Lovato, 56, a seasonal maintenance worker at Pecos, passed away on October 22nd.

Following retirement from employment by the City of Santa Fe, he became a seasonal worker at the park and had worked there for three yars.

Edwin was well loved by many friends and family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.  He was a good, hardworking, kind hearted man who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. He had a way of making everyone feel happy and good about themselves. "Selfish" was not a word in his vocabulary. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vanessa Lovato. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patsy (Baca) Lovato; daughters: Christina Perea (Adrian) and Crystal Gutierrez-Baca (Dickie); son Santiago Lovato; parents: Isabel and Ernesto Lovato; grandchildren: Briel Perea, Genesis, Christella, Avrianna, and Arturo Baca.
