Milton Grady Arrington Jr., 62, a retired park ranger who worked for the NPS for 30 years, died on Friday, September 28th.
Grady was born on December 5, 1949, in Gary, Indiana, and was a son of the late Milton Arrington Sr. and Lonnie Mae McGill Berry. He worked for the National Park Service for 30 years as a park ranger.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Violet Arrington of Cave City, Ky.; a son, Alonzo Pinkney and wife Jeniece Pinkney of Cave City, Ky.; a daughter, Sharon Pinkney of Cave City, Ky.; a brother, Jimmie Lee Arrington and wife Linda Arrington of Luray; three grandchildren, Anieca Pinkney, Sedwick Pinkney and Trevor Pinkney, all of Cave City , Ky.; three nieces, Angie Charles and husband Mike Charles of Elkton, Jamie Arrington and Autumn Billings of Luray; two nephews, Jimmy Arrington Jr. and fiancée Tamekea Becks of Harrisonburg, and Terry Hayes of Abingdon; one great niece, A’myah Arrington of Harrisonburg; and two great nephews, Mike Charles Jr. of Severn, Md., and Demetrius Arrington of Harrisonburg.
A funeral service wsas held on October 4th. The burial was in the Blainesville Cemetery in Luray, Virginia.Memorial contributions may be made to the Milton Arrington Scholarship, Luray High School, 243 Bulldog Drive, Luray, Va. 22835.
