Fort Washington, PA— Eastern National today announced the release of the new Passport To Your National Parks® Explorer Edition. The eagerly awaited ‘big brother’ to the best-selling Passport book combines a durable, pocketed portfolio with more pages—and more room for collecting national park cancellations—than ever before.

The Passport To Your National Parks® program helps visitors discover the beauty and history found in America’s national parks. By encouraging people to visit as many of the 388 national parks as they can while collecting the acclaimed Passport cancellations at each park, the Passport allows visitors to gain a greater appreciation of the National Park System in America—and have fun doing it. The Passport Explorer is perfect for planning a trip to visit our national parks, and for saving memories after the trip. Since the program’s inception in 1986, nearly 1.3 million Passports have been sold.

The Passport Explorer program consists of the Passport Portfolio; expanded stamping and information pages; the commemorative Passport stamp series; and national park cancellations:

The Passport Portfolio—This sturdy canvas portfolio zips shut to protect the owner’s cancellations and commemorative stamps. A seven-ring binder allows pages to lay flat and easily snaps open, letting users add, remove, or rearrange pages however they like. The portfolio also includes a removable shoulder strap; the official National Park Service Map & Guide; a national park bookmark; the exclusive Passport Explorer pen; a vinyl ‘zip-lock’ pouch; laminated, tabbed dividers; a special slide pocket for the National Parks Pass or other ID; and plenty of pockets for park maps, trail guides, personal items, and even the standard Passport book.

Expanded Pages—Over 170 full-color pages feature maps, descriptions, checklists, photographs, and contact information for every park in the National Park System. The 5 1/4”x7 3/4” pages hold more park cancellations and commemorative stamps than ever.
