The Cultural Resources Directorate is seeking an NPS employee from the Washington, D.C., commuting area for a 120-day detail to the Pathways program.

Candidates are sought who are interested in gaining experience and developing skills in administration, communication, and collaboration. The person selected will serve the administrative needs of the directorate and complete special projects. This position is ideal for individuals with strong skills in oral and written communication, computer applications, and time management at the GS-6 level and below. Duties may vary based on program need and skills of the employee selected. 

The position may be converted to permanent if funding is available. The position is located in the Directorate’s Business Office, located at 1201 Eye Street, NW, Washington, DC, between the Metro Center and McPherson Square subway stations.

Applicants should send both a resume in Word format and brief supervisory endorsement statement in PDF format, dated with the supervisor’s signature together in one email, to Victoria_Clarke@nps.gov by COB, Friday, January 25th. Do not include Social Security numbers or birth dates on resumes. Resumes should include detailed work histories, educational background, and any special qualifications relative to the position.
