The position supports the Interpretation, Resource Management, and Visitor Protection divisions at Bandelier, providing administrative support, including but not limited to budget tracking and purchasing. Works closely with the Division Chiefs to keep them informed regarding administrative and budgetary issues and requirements. Responds verbally to visitors’ telephone inquiries for information. May also be asked to monitor radio traffic or relay communications via two-way radio, or support incidental activities of the divisions.
While housing is not provided for this position, Bandelier National Monument is 20-30 minutes from the gateway communities of White Rock and Los Alamos, NM, and 45 minutes to one hour from the city of Santa Fe.
