Arches and Canyonlands National Parks participated in the annual Christmas Light Parade in Moab, Utah, on Saturday December 1st.

The parade was well attended due to the unseasonably warm December weather and a record number of entries, including many from neighboring land management agencies.

The NPS float this year was a tribute to the cultural and natural resources of the parks and the surrounding Southeast Utah region, complete with a lighted ruin, panels depicting the many petroglyphs in the area, and, of course, the iconic Delicate Arch.
