Alaska Marine Highway System (The Ferry) Alaska Public
Lands Information Center welcomed the Alaska
Marine Highway into our offices in Tok. We
have a new ship and a new route for Alaska, says Lisa, manager
of the ferry office in Tok. Once again in June 2002 the M/V
Kennicott is scheduled to begin cross gulf service. In 1998 the first
time in AMHS history, we offered regular trips across the Gulf of
Alaska, connecting Southeast to southwest Alaska, bringing Alaskans
closer together.
