Ranger JesseA variety of educational programs are offered year round onsite and offsite for community schools and youth groups. A lecture series is offered in the off season, entitled "Explore Alaska Series" which offers programs on a variety of topics such as adventuring in Alaska, public land area recreation opportunities and other topics of special interest. Special events and family programs are offered throughout the year. These programs give children and adults the opportunity to explore Alaskan themes through a variety of games, activities and learning adventures.

The FairbanksAlaska Public Lands Information Centers also offers scheduled films and programs throughout the winter. Call to be added to our monthly flyer mailing list. Come in from the cold and enjoy films about the gold rush, dog mushing, or Dall sheep, or a variety of other topics!
