Bear Management Plan (PDF, 2.9 MB): The objectives of the Aniakchak bear management plan are to retain the natural population dynamics of bears, allow their natural patterns of feeding and habitat use to continue, preclude a learned orientation of bears toward people, minimize bear-human conflicts, and provide opportunities for humans to learn about, observe, and appreciate bears.

Foundation Statement: The Foundation Statement describes the unit’s purpose, significance, fundamental resources and values, primary interpretive themes, and special mandates.

General Management Plan: Comprehensive park plan that guides the long-term management of resources, visitor use, and general development at the park.

Long-Range Interpretive Plan (PDF, 31 MB): Long-Range Interpretive Plans (LRIPs) provide a vision for the future (5-10 years) of interpretation, education, and visitor experience opportunities.

Strategic Plan (PDF, 268 KB): A short term (5 years or less) park plan that guides the long-term management of resources, visitor use, and general development at the park.

Transportation Plan: Assesses and monitors transportation related issues, performance and maintenance.
