Professional Development

Andersonville National Historic Site and the Georgia Council for History Education co-sponsored a teacher workshop in October 2011. The workshop showcased the park's new educational materials and programs, explored how National Archives collections can be used in teaching Andersonville, and discussed how Andersonville provides a unique way of teaching the consequences of the American Civil War.

Please contact the park about future teacher workshop opportunities.
