Donations help the park maintain historic structures, support visitor services and public programs. You can make donations during your visit through the donation box located in the park visitor center. You can also send a check or money order made out to the National Park Service and sent to the park in care of the park Superintendent.

Did You Know?
Accidents were common on the Allegheny Portage Railroad. In the 1840’s the engine house at incline plane #6 blew up killing four people.
