Charles and Betty Fitzpatrick
Charles L. Fitzpatrick was a Naval aviator in a PV-1 Ventura with VPB-136, Fleet Air Wing 4 during WWII. He flew bombing missions from Attu to the Kurile Islands. Charles and Betty Fitzpatrick were instrumental in having the Aleutian Campaign recognized on the Navy/Marine football stadium wall at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. What a wonderful way to recognize those who served and a reminder to future generations of a piece of history we should not forget - the Forgotten War.
