Logistic Information for Chukotka

	Flights from Nome, Alaska to Provideniya and Anadyr, Chukotka, Russia are available by charter service and with limited seat fare availability. Contact Bering Air at www.beringair.com (tab to Trip Planning & Russian Travel) or by calling (907) 443-8988 for current rates.
	From Provideniya one can travel by road to New Chaplino, by boat in summer to Yanrakynnot and Lorino (around $600 for the boat) and by helicopter (around $120 round trip seat fear) to Lavrentiya and Uelen.
	Estimates of per diem is $45-70, lodging is around $70 a night, guiding service is around $80 - 100 a day for the group.
	Rates in Anadyr are higher where there are standard hotels and restaurants. Hotels will range from $120 to $260 a night. Per diem should be calculated higher (up to $100) to cover food costs.
