Logistic Information for Chukotka
	Note: For entry into Chukotka you will need a processed special permission entry form in addition to a Russian visa. Contact us or linked commercial services for details. Also consult the Chukotka regional government's website at www.chuktoka.org(tab to Tourism & Entry Permit Requirements).
	Flights from Nome, Alaska to Provideniya and Anadyr, Chukotka, Russia are available by charter service and with limited seat fare availability. Contact Bering Air at www.beringair.com (tab to Trip Planning & Russian Travel) or by calling (907) 443-5620 for current rates.
	From Provideniya one can travel by road to New Chaplino, by boat in summer to Yanrakynnot and Lorino (around $300 for the boat) and by helicopter (around $60 round trip) to Lavrentiya and Uelen.
	Estimates of per diem is $25-50, lodging is around $50 a night, guiding service is around $80 - 100 a day for the group.
	Rates in Anadyr are higher where there are standard hotels and restaurants. Hotels will range from $93 to $200 a night. Per diem should be calculated higher (up to $80) to cover food costs.
