This
units provides real data collected from golden eagle nests in Denali
National Park and Preserve to explore animal reproduction. Students
will learn about the number of young produced and how well they
survive and tie this information back to the food chain and the
role of national parks in protecting healthy animal populations.
This
unit is designed for grades 3-8. Use Lesson Plan Part I for lower
grades, and Lesson Plan Parts I & II for upper grades.
