Field Trips

We encourage teachers to bring their students to Agate Fossil Beds for a field trip. This is where the Miocene fossils were found. Where James Cook ranched. Where James Cook met with the paleontologists and Red Cloud, other Lakota Sioux and Northern Cheyenne friends. Inside talks and guided hikes are offered. Call the park at 308-668-2211 to schedule a field trip.
