  • Outdoor Memorial Closure

    Starting November 1, 2014 through March 2, 2015 the African Burial Ground National Monument's outdoor memorial will be closed for the winter season. The indoor visitor center will remain open daily through the winter Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

African Burial Ground National Monument consists of an indoor visitor center and exhibition and an outdoor memorial. Hours of operation are listed below. Both the indoor visitor center and outdoor memorial are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
