African Burial Ground National Monument consists of an indoor visitor center and museum and an outdoor memorial. Hours of operation are listed below.

Exception:

The indoor visitor center is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Columbus Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

The outdoor memorial is closed on Thanksgiving, Columbus Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

The Outdoor Memorial will be remain open until 5 PM during summer months - May 7th through September 9th.

It is open during the winter, weather permitting.
