Where to Eat

The Jordan Pond House Restaurant, the only dining facility in the park, serves lunch, tea, and dinner from mid-May through late October. The restaurant is operated by the Acadia Corporation, a Maine-owned company working with the National Park Service to provide food service and merchandising facilities in the park. For more information, visit their website. For reservations, call 207-276-3316.

Many dining options are available in nearby communities. Local chambers of commerce can provide you with more information.

Did You Know?
Acadia National Park's carriage road system, built by John D. Rockefeller Jr., has been called “the finest example of broken stone roads designed for horse-drawn vehicles still extant in America.” Today, you can hike or bike 45 miles of these scenic carriage roads in the park.
