Wild Gardens of Acadia
Wild Gardens of AcadiaWhile never ablaze in bloom, an interesting succession of plants appears at the Wild Gardens. Although the subtlety of the park's plants often requires careful observation, the Wild Gardens are home to native flora that are sometimes quite showy.

Did You Know?
The Civilian Conservation Corps performed important work in Acadia National Park, including clearing brush, setting stones, and constructing Seawall Campground. Today park headquarters is located in the former CCC camp.
