We're almost 100!

It's our birthday, and we hope you'll visit a national park and help us celebrate! On August 25, 2015, the National Park Service turns 99 years old. We are waiving entrance fees on that day and inviting everyone to head to one of the 408 national parks—as well as national historic landmarks and scenic trails, national heritage areas, and so much more—in communities across the country! Take in the scenery, get inspired by history, attend a ranger program, or simply enjoy the great outdoors.

For this year, in honor of our 99th birthday, we created a list of 99 Ways to Find Your Park. The list includes a wide range of activities that you can do in urban parks, nature parks, historic parks, and everything in between. Pick an activity on the list that you can do in a park this month and post a picture of your experience on social media using the hashtag #FindYourPark. We can't wait to see what you do!
