Park Announces Volunteer Training Days

The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park is holding volunteer orientation training days for those wishing to volunteer at the park's visitor center information desk. Each class is limited to 8 participants. Those wishing to participate are asked to call
Training is scheduled for the following dates and times:
Monday, February 10 at 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Thursday, March 13 at 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Thursday, April 10 at 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Prospective volunteers will learn about the National Park Service's history and about the history and formation of the park. The training will include a tour of the park grounds and facilities. For information call the park at 270-358-3137 or visit www.nps.gov/abli.
