Volunteer Opportunities

Join the community of volunteers nationwide who donate their time and talent to your national parks! Being a Volunteer-In-Parks (VIP) is a fun and rewarding way to give back to these wonderful places. A variety of service opportunities are available for youth and adults of all backgrounds, interests, and abilities.

Volunteering with Partners

Park partners are groups of volunteers who have special agreements with the park. These groups can be historical societies, a Friends group of the park, educational centers, and more! Partnering with these volunteer groups allows for more exciting events, beneficial relationships, and awesome opportunities to gain experience.

Volunteering with Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

Volunteering at this park allows students to gain experience, community members to get outside with purpose, and retirees a social environment to share their knowledge. We have so many different volunteer opportunities, some people join more than one VIP group!
