A variety of hiking trails are open to the public; these are listed briefly in the park bulletin at the right. (pdf) PEEC's visitor center and PEEC's website have trail maps and additional information on the trails.

Directions to PEEC
PEEC is located within the recreation area, off Route 209 in Dingmans Ferry PA. About 7 miles north of the blinking light in Bushkill PA, or 4.5 miles south of the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 209 and 739 in Dingmans Ferry PA, turn west (left if northbound) onto Brisco Mt. Road. Follow uphill 1 mile, and at the turn, bear right onto Thurner Road. PEEC is immediately ahead on the right.

Did You Know?
... that hemlock groves in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are threatened by a non-native insect, the hemlock woolly adelgid. Hemlocks provide shade for spectacular rhodondenron, for trout streams, and for native wildflowers. As hemlocks weaken and die, they are cut down for your safety.
