Viewing Model Airplanes

Two local clubs fly their radio-controlled model aircraft in the park. Visitors are welcome to stop by and watch the action.

Roxbury Area Model Airplane Club (RAMAC)
GPS 41.036113 -75.043237

This club flies at Hialeah Air Park PA, on River Road just north of Smithfield Beach. There is a signat the entrance; the parking lot is below the road grade. Please signal and turn with caution.

Flying Hawks Club (E-mail)
GPS 41.300752 -74.820799

This club uses the Flying Hawks Airfield PA, just north of milepost 19 on Route 209 near Milford PA. The entrance is an unmarked dirt road. Please signal and turn with caution. If a cable is across the road, the Hawks are not flying that day.

Did You Know?
... that the Middle Delaware River exceeds ordinary federal standards for clean water. Because of this, special higher standards have been set for the river, so it does not "deteriorate" to being just "clean enough." The river in this park is, and will remain, truly "cleaner than clean."
