Expanded Amenity Fees are collected in season at:
Milford Beach PA | Dingmans Access PA | Bushkill Access PA | Smithfield Beach PA
Watergate Recreation Site NJ | Turtle Beach NJ (Scheduled to open 2010)

Beaches and Coordinates | Boat Ramps and Coordinates

 

FEES FOR ONE DAY'S USE

(Frequent visitors to this park should consider purchasing an Annual Pass for this park.)

Private vehicle (up to 7 persons): $7.00 per vehicle on a weekday
Private vehicle (up to 7 persons): $10.00 per vehicle on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday.
Vehicles with 8 or more adults (16 yrs. or older): $1.00 per person.
Pedestrian or bicycle: $1.00 per person. (Annual Walk-in pass)

FEES FOR ONE DAY'S USE ARE PAID DIRECTLY AT THE FEE SITE, either to a staff member in a collection booth, or by using an automated machine, depending on the site.

 

WAIVERS and EXCEPTIONS

Persons 15 years of age and younger do not have to pay the fee.
Persons not remaining at or recreating at the site

The following do not have to pay the fee if they do not remain at or recreate at the site:

• those who are dropping off or picking up people from the river access ramps;
• those walking through Smithfield Beach on McDade Trail (McDade Trail policy on Pets);
• those using Smithfield Beach for a river baptism only with prior permit; groups staying to recreate at Smithfield Beach after the baptism must pay the fee

 

Acceptability of AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL passes in this park...

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area collects Expanded Amenity Fees,
(formerly called recreation use fees), not Entrance fees or Standard Amenity Fees.
As such, the fees at this park are not covered by (regular) America the Beautiful Annual Passes.

However, a 50% discount on the park's expanded amenity fees (for one day) and on the park's annual park pass will be given to holders of:

American the Beautiful (ATB) Senior Passes (National Parks Golden Age Pass), and
American the Beautiful (ATB) Access Passes
 (National Parks Golden Access Pass.)
